Mind the Heart! is a global art project that promotes mindfulness through site-specific street art, public actions and lectures. The project, established in 2009, is a collaboration between Israeli artists Maya Gelfman & Roie Avidan.
Mind the Heart! project has been featured in numerous media outlets – print, online, television and radio – as well as in two international art books in Germany and France. Recent coverage includes Culture Map Houston, Atlanta Jewish Times, Street Art NYC and Israel Today.
In over a hundred cities across five continents, Mind the Heart! has partnered with dozens of cities and institutions as well as serendipitous individuals that became the Heart Community. Here below is a selected list.
